2. Will it be enough?
Type-specific speedups only work on their own queue, so use them before Universal ones and keep Universals for whatever runs short.
3. How many troops can you train?
Divide the batch time by the batch size in game to get seconds per troop. It already includes your training speed bonuses.
Why count your speedups?
Speedups are the real currency of Rise of Kingdoms. City Hall upgrades, research and troop training all take days or weeks, and events like Mightiest Governor and the KvK preparation stages reward you for using speedups at the right moment. But the game shows them as a long list of 13 sizes across five types, so most players have no idea how many days they are holding. This calculator adds it up, saves it on your device, and tells you whether you can finish an upgrade now.
The five types
- Universal works on any queue. The most valuable, so spend it last.
- Building only speeds up construction.
- Research only speeds up Academy technology.
- Training only speeds up troop training and upgrades.
- Healing only speeds up the Hospital.
Tips
- Save them for events. Using speedups during a matching event stage earns points on top of the time saved.
- Specific before Universal. The calculator always uses type-specific speedups first.
- Big ones for big jobs. A 24-hour speedup on a 2-hour upgrade wastes 22 hours. Use the small sizes to finish timers exactly.
- Check your help. Alliance help takes time off each upgrade, so start upgrades before you spend speedups on them.

Yes. Universal speedups can be used on building, research, training and healing. Typed speedups, such as building or training, only work on their own queue.
