Two checks in one
The deck checker looks at your deck in two ways. The structure score asks whether the deck is built in a way that usually works: affordable, quick to cycle, with spells and a way to take towers. The meta check then asks how your actual cards are doing right now, using RoyaleAPI's Ranked stats for the 7 days to 3 November 2026, and finds the top decks closest to yours, with the exact cards you'd need to swap in.
A deck can score 100 on structure and still be weak if its cards are out of the meta, and an odd-looking deck can be great if you have played it for months. Use both, then test it. If you want to try a swap, open it in the deck builder.
Structure score rules
The score is out of 100 and uses five fixed checks. They look at how a deck is built, not at win rates, so treat it as a sanity check rather than a verdict.
- Average elixir (25): 2.6 to 4.3 scores full marks.
- 4-card cycle (15): 12 elixir or less scores full marks.
- Spells (20): two spells scores full marks.
- Troops and buildings (20): at least four troops and no more than two buildings.
- Win condition (20): you mark which card(s) you use to take towers.
FAQ
What makes a good Clash Royale deck?
A clear win condition, two spells of different sizes, an answer to air and to big ground pushes, and an average elixir that suits how you play. The checker scores each of these and explains what is missing.
How is the score worked out?
Five checks with fixed points: average elixir, cycle cost, number of spells, troop and building balance, and whether you marked a win condition.
Does it know the meta?
Yes, the meta check uses RoyaleAPI's Ranked card stats for the last week and compares your deck with the week's top decks.
